Even though there is a lot of building going on at Leicester Square, you can still have a wonderful evening and enjoy everything around the square. There're a lot of restaurants and shops, big cinemas and pubs, people and light and sound...

Sewing Machines

Strolling through the streets of Notting Hill we've found a unique way to decorate shop-windows...

Bei unserem Bummel durch Notting Hill fanden wir eine Schaufenster Dekoration der besonderen Art...

There must've been hundreds of sewing machines...in the windows, on the wall, we spotted sewing machines all around the shop - it looked amazing!

Das mussten hunderte Nähmaschinen sein, in den Schaufenstern, an der Wand...einfach überall!

Notting Hill

Unbelievable - I've never been there before! So Keeper and I hopped on a bus and went to Notting Hill Gate and after checking things out we threw ourselfs into the crowd! It seemed that everybody loves "Portobello Road"!!

Ich war vorher noch nie in Notting Hill - kaum zu glauben. Keeper und ich sprangen also in einen Bus und fuhren bis Notting Hill Gate. Nachdem wir uns orientiert hatten, stürzten wir uns sofort ins Getümmel. Scheinbar ist die "Portobello Road" sehr beliebt :-)

Meeting at Paul's

A perfect, sunny day in London! We met at Paul's with Verity and Emerald to have a nice breakfast and a delicious Cappuccino!!

Ein perfekter, sonniger Tag in London. Am Morgen trafen wir uns mit Verity und Emerald im "Paul" und genossen ein leckeres Frühstück und einen köstlichen Cappuccino!!

London again

In January we will go to London and I can’t wait to be there again! 

Don’t ask me what it is, that does it for me...I simply love this town!

I’m sure it will be cold and windy, nevertheless it will be crowded as usual but still...my heart beats faster when I think of it.

One reason for us to go there time and again is the theatre. We love the London stages and we had some of our greatest moments in London's theatres. We saw great shows on big stages and lovely plays on small, even tiny stages. We’ve been thrilled, stunned, excited and sad. We laughed and we cried (at least me), we trembled and we shivered. We had wonderful moments at various stage doors, met great artists, performers and people who enjoyed themselves as we did!

But it’s even better that all of the Rambling Sisters and a lot of their friends share this passion. Nothing's better than to meet with friends in London who love to be there as much as you do. Because everything is better if you can enjoy it with others!

Im Januar werden wir wieder einmal in London sein und ich kann es kaum abwarten. Fragt mich bitte nicht, was diese Stadt hat…ich liebe sie einfach!

Sicher wird es kalt und windig sein, die Stadt wird wieder überfüllt sein aber mein Herzchen schlägt ein bisschen schneller beim Gedanken an London.

Einer der Gründe warum wir diese Stadt immer wieder besuchen ist das Theater. Wir lieben es! Was hatten wir schon für tolle Erlebnisse. Großartige Aufführungen in den großen Theater, kleine, feine Stücke auf kleinen Bühnen. Wir waren begeistert, atemlos, aufgeregt und traurig. Wir haben lauthals gelacht und fürchterlich geweint (also ich schon!), wir haben gezittert und gebebt.

Wir durften geniale Momente an verschiedensten Bühnenausgängen erleben, wir trafen großartige Künstler, Darsteller und Menschen, die ebenso genossen und fühlten wie wir.

Aber das Beste am Erlebnis London und den Theatern ist, dass die Rambling Sisters und viele ihrer Freunde diese Leidenschaft miteinander teilen. Es gibt nichts schöneres, als sich mit Freunden in London zu treffen - alles ist ein Stückchen besser, wenn man es mit anderen teilen kann!
