A very special building...Ely Cathedral. It's just amazing!
We've been very lucky that day. All the way from Standsted to Ely the clouds wouldn't go away. A few miles before we reached Ely the sun came out!
***
The Nave is impression in itself (164m) but the ceiling is stunning!
*
Very unique is the Octagon-Tower. We visited a lot of churches and cathedrals troughout UK but I never saw something like that. It's due to a catastrophy because in 1322 the original tower collapsed. It took 18 years to build the new, octagon tower.

I loved the blue light on the massive pillar...it was created by the sunlight that fell through the window

Leicester Square at night
Even though there is a lot of building going on at Leicester Square, you can still have a wonderful evening and enjoy everything around the square. There're a lot of restaurants and shops, big cinemas and pubs, people and light and sound...
***
If you'll ever be there...don't forget to go

Sewing Machines
Strolling through the streets of Notting Hill we've found a unique way to decorate shop-windows...
***
There must've been hundreds of sewing machines...in the windows, on the wall, we spotted sewing machines all around the shop - it looked amazing!
***
Most of them were Singer sewing machines

Notting Hill
Unbelievable - I've never been there before! So Keeper and I hopped on a bus and went to Notting Hill Gate and after checking things out we threw ourselfs into the crowd! It seemed that everybody loves "Portobello Road"!!
***
We loved the tiny coloured houses along the road!
I guess nobody noticed this sign!
Hang out to dry !!
