Dieses Mal waren wir in der Heimat unterwegs... wir nutzten heute das einigermaßen beständige Wetter für einen Ausflug nach Detmold ins Freilichtmuseum. Besonders angetan hat es uns das Paderborner Dorf. In der Bäckerei gibt es superleckeres Hefegebäck und Brot und ein Bierchen kann man während des - zumindest heute scheinbar unvermeidlichen - Regengusses im Weißen Ross trinken...
Viel Geschichte auf einem wirklich schönen Gelände. Ein paar Eindrücke hab ich auch mitgebracht!

Well, it's not on British soil, but lovely as well... :-) Today we visited the outdoor museum in Detmold because finally the weather was stable and sunny enough for a few hours to take a stroll through the past....
We especially like the so called Paderborner Dorf with its traditional bakery and yummie pastries. During the at least today inevitable shower of rain we had a lovely lunch at the restaurant The White Horse...
There is a lot of history to see on the extensive and beautiful grounds. Here are some impressions!
